Throughout my years of collaboration with faculty, I recognized a significant gap in the emphasis on visual literacy. In the realm of online education, instructional designers often found themselves inundated with textual content from professors, lacking accompanying visuals to enhance comprehension and retention.
This realization prompted me to delve deeper into the importance of visual literacy, culminating in the creation of an insightful article on the subject. Inspired by the need for practical solutions, I subsequently crafted an infographic designed to serve as a valuable resource for faculty members navigating the complexities of course design.
Embedded within the infographic are key graphic design principles, strategically integrated to provide faculty with actionable insights and guidance in their course development endeavors. My vision for this infographic extends beyond mere illustration; it represents a comprehensive tool that empowers educators to elevate the quality and effectiveness of their online courses.
